All Floridian holiday vibes – it’s named after the Miami area code – The 305 is a cool spot to check out at any time of day as it serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and poolside bites. Nestled at the far end of The Club – the trendy space at Palm West Beach – The 305 counts SĀN Beach and La Maison de la Plage among its illustrious sun- dappled neighbours. It’s more laid-back than some of the offerings along the strip, with a handful of deals throughout the week including ladies’ days, happy hours and wellness events. Early riser? You’re in the right place. It opens at 9am and you’d do well to head here then to secure one of the single sunbeds – which are a top deal coming in at Dhs200 (Dhs250 on weekends), which is fully redeemable on food and drink. Cabanas can seat four for Dhs700 (also fully redeemable), so if you’re there with some mates this is a good plan. With sunbeds on the edge of the pool as well as on the sand, the area is spacious and arranged so that you don’t feel too close to your fellow beachgoers. Coming from the team behind Asia Asia, ULA and STK, the vibe is chill and the crowd varied. The menu is pretty solid for seaside fare, too. Accompany it with a glass of pink grape and make like you’re on holiday – even if it’s just a day off. A top shout for a beach day at prices that won’t break the bank, all in a premium location. That is quite certainly no longer the case. With beach clubs popping up at a rapid rate – Be Beach is one of the newer in town, currently in its first season having opened in October 2023. And it’s making an impression so far. Found at the trendy Dubai Harbour, Be Beach is a boho-chic spot that’s lazy, cool vibes by day and a popping party when the sun sets (and what a place to watch the sun set, we’ll add). Coming from the team behind Iris, Bar du Port and Babylon along with the brains beyond Soho Garden, as you’d expect this is a slick day-to-night destination aiming at a cool crowd. Perched out into the ocean (yes, this is another one that isn’t actually on a beach, though there is sand in the centre area) the views are superb back to JBR and the Marina. Twinkling waters surround the venue making for the ideal Insta shot, though the beach club itself has all the fixings as a picture-perfect spot in itself with macrame décor and on-trend neutral tones. The infinity pool is a prime space to bag a bed, although you’ll need to book well in advance – this is a place to see and be seen at right now. Sunbeds start at Dhs200 during the week (Dhs100 redeemable) and there’s a ladies’ day on a Wednesday. Live DJs keep the vibe going, while as night falls the beach is cleared of beds and a party vibe ramps up, with a roster of live acts drawing in the crowds. A new, cool addition to the beach club scene – and one you’ll want to visit ASAP. Be Beach O Open Sun-Fri 10am-7pm, Sat 10am-2am. Licensed. Dubai Harbour, @ bebeachdxb (054 751 1119). WHAT IS IT... Aerial yoga uses silk hammocks to help you try a totally different way of seeing things (literally) as you hang upside down and swing from the silks.
