For Ali Al Gebely, that transformation started with a deep-seated belief that the UAE’s real estate market had entered a period of stagnation. It had become trapped in a cycle of repetition, where the prevailing mindset was: if it’s not broken, why fi x it? There was little room for innovation, and the space for new ideas had been all but closed off . For Al Gebely, that wasn’t good enough. He saw an opportunity not only to disrupt the status quo but to reinvent the very nature of urban living. From the outset, ONE Development was conceived as an antidote to this stagnation—a company born from the desire to push past convention and breathe life into the real estate sector once again. However, it didn’t take long for Al Gebely to realise that the disconnect between what the market was off ering and what people truly needed was far more vast than he had initially thought. This realisation spurred him to take action, propelling him toward a future where ONE Development would lead the reshaping of the UAE’s urban landscape. A VISION THAT GROWS WITH TIME When ONE Development was founded in 2024, its mission was simple: to go beyond traditional development practices and create spaces that genuinely make a diff erence in people’s lives. “We wanted to create communities that transcend conventional real estate,” Al Gebely refl ects. As the company’s projects have progressed, so too has his vision. He explains, “We’re no longer just developing homes; we’re designing intelligent ecosystems that anticipate future resident needs.” These spaces are beyond a place to live, they’re smarter, more connected, and deeply integrated with technology and sustainability to enhance daily life. That being said, ONE Development sets itself apart thanks to its ability to evolve in tandem with the rapidly shifting demands of urban living. By fusing artifi cial intelligence, sustainability, and community wellbeing, the company’s vision for the future remains adaptive—refl ective of the region’s growing ambition to lead in innovation and quality of life. LEADERSHIP THAT ENCOURAGES GROWTH Al Gebely’s approach to leadership mirrors the innovative spirit of the company itself. His philosophy is simple yet profound: “Leadership is about transforming vision into tangible results.” But for him, achieving those results is about more than just driving the company forward. It’s about empowering his team to reach new heights, and nurturing a Lobby interiors at Laguna Residence $627MN Total value of Laguna Residence CW_Apr2025_46-53_Cover Story_13562768.indd 4831/03/2025 19:07APRIL 2025 49 PARTNER CONTENT Laguna Residence at Dusk CW_Apr2025_46-53_Cover Story_13562768.indd 4931/03/2025 19:07Next >
