Those are actually the names of some of F45’s super-fun circuit workouts. Each class lasts 45 minutes (would you believe it?), except for the hour-long Friday Hollywood class, which features a live DJ set, just to add to the fun. O Open daily. The place runs a variety of classes including boxing, pilates, circuit training and yoga. During these 40-minute sessions you really do get to escape to another world, as all the bikes are set up opposite a huge screen showing a 3D landscape. With stylish branding and merchandise, it’s all very Insta-friendly and it’s compulsory to post a least one selÀe in your PUNCH gloves every time you go. Sweat This boutique studio is run by the same people who own healthy eating café Nolu’s, and Raw by Nolu’s is just next door for when you want a post-gym smoothie or salad. But before you get to that stage you need to try out one of the awesome workouts. There are 45-minute spin sessions which are joined by upbeat tunes and glitter balls, intense Tabata sessions, challenging strength classes and a variety of ladies-only sessions too. The Room This is one of the friendliest studios in the capital, and no matter how nervous you are about joinng a group Àtness class (there’s really no need, but just in case), the welcoming staff will make you feel totally at ease. That’s all you want from a gym studio, right? The Room started off specialising in spinning classes before expanding to include other workouts like boxÀt, Pilates, yoga and body pump. Vogue Fitness CrossFit seems to be one of those things that you either love or hate, and judging by the fact that CrossFit studio Vogue Fitness now has three branches across the city, it’s fair to say that Abu Dhabi has gone a little bit mad for it. Members are super dedicated, and there’s a real sense of community to pair with the high-intensity workouts, including the now infamous Mayhem. You’ll come out buzzing and feeling significantly less stressed Barry’s Bootcamp62 December 1 — February 14 timeoutabudhabi.com If you’re looking for cultural, fun things to do this winter, listen up The Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival 2022 is taking place this winter, and is celebrating the culture of the UAE, showcasing the rich diversity of its traditions and the legacy of the nation’s founder. Here, you’ll be able to experience Emirati heritage and culture through arts, crafts, food and loads of other fun things to do. The festival is running now through to Saturday March 18 at Al Wathba, a suburban neighbourhood of Abu Dhabi near Bani Yas. This year’s edition is being held under the slogan, “UAE: Uniting Civilisations” and will also include the Union Parade, UAE National Day celebrations, the Global Parade and Al Wathba Custom Show.
