The IVECO T-Way is also highly suitable for applications such as transit mixers, that require extra robustness and rigidity. IVECO S-WAY: PRODUCTIVITY IN LONG-HAUL The IVECO S-Way is now safer and more productive, with up to 10% improvement in fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions thanks to the new powertrain, vehicles control and improved areodynamics. The IVECO S-Way is powered by the new XCursor 13 engine with up to 580hp and 2800Nm torque, or the new XCursor 13 gas engine with 500hp and 2200Nm. The rear axle ratios have been revised to 2.17 and 2.06, while the gearbox logic has been improved and optimised for effi ciency and productivity. The driver is assisted by features such as Highway Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and GSR, which help the driver with functions such as keeping in the centre of the lane, maintaining a safe distance to the vehicle in front and braking to maintain required distances. Drowsiness and lane departure warning, along with advanced emergency braking functions are also provided for added safety. The digital cockpit has a new mirrorless camera, instrument cluster and infotainment system with a 10- and 12-inch full TFT digital cluster, which integrates the climate control and is completely reconfi gurable. As in the other models, it is compatible with both Apple Carplay and Android Auto Alexa fully embedded, and the capacity to have two phones connected simultaneously via Bluetooth. Bolstered by nearly 50 years of history, this launch is truly electric both for our cutting-edge e-trucks and e-vans, and for the energy that the entire IVECO team is putting behind driving the road of change.” The IVECO S-Way is the long-haul, heavy transport model in the IVECO line-up, built for moving freight long distances safely and economically. IVECO T-WAY: T FOR TOUGH The IVECO T-Way is the model IVECO range that is designed for the world of off- road transport work. The model is now safer and more productive than ever, IVECO says, complete with a stylish look. When it comes of profi tability and sustainability, the new IVECO T-Way offers up to 10% improvement in fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions, thanks to the new powertrain, vehicles control and improved aerodynamics. The reduction in fuel consumption is also the result of a state-of- the-art GPS predictive driving system acting as a driver aid. The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is also defi nitively lowered to extremely competitive levels thanks to fuel consumption reduction and a world of maintenance and telematics services that are built around the customer, explained IVECO. When it comes to power to tackle the rough terrain and heavy-duty tasks this model was designed for, the IVECO T-Way sports a new xC13 engine with up to 540hp. This is complimented by the improved and optimised logics of the gearbox. The off-road model comes with three driving modes - from ECO to Power - with several parameters that can be customised when purchasing the vehicle or by the driver or remotely through telematics. Being a model built for heavy-duty off-road applications, the IVECO T-Way has suitable underpinning in its driveline. There is a new rear axle for heavy missions, new PTO for all-wheel drive and new underpinnings to facilitate body builders. For the rear axle, the new 18X is available for heavy missions with a GCW of 50-60 tonnes and high payload demand. The new IVECO T-Way also comes with reinforced single reduction axle, a new housing, carrier and braking system. The transfer case PTO is now available on all-wheel drive in combination with the 12 TX automated gearbox. There are also new contents to facilitate body builder, especially with electric/electronic interfaces such as push switches in the upper shelf and the dashboard, free wirings from cab to chassis and from BB connectors to upper shelf, as well as dedicated slots for rocker switches in the dashboard. SHAMS+ has also seen immense success following its launch last year – winning the award for ‘Most Innovative Energy Project’ at the Sustainability Innovation Awards earlier this year – a testament to the success of our efforts towards greener tech. Our Modular Housing business introduced new solutions which are more sustainable and represent in their engineering a cutting edge in this sector.
