He joined the company in 2008 as Group General Manager and he was promoted to CEO in 2015. He is also the Chairman of Gulf Energy Maritime (GEM), a board member of the Supreme Council of Energy and the Green Energy Council, a member of the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) committee, a member of Fuel Price Committee in Abu Dhabi, and a member of Dubai Future Council of Energy. He is a seasoned industry leader with over four decades of experience in the oil and gas sector. Al Falasi is renowned for his commitment to environmental sustainability and innovative energy solutions. Furthermore, he focuses on excellence locally and internationally, and aligning ENOC’s strategy with the vision of the Government of Dubai and to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 as part of the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 Strategy. In 2014, he was awarded Fellowship of the UK Energy Institute (EI) in recognition of his leadership of the ENOC Energy and Resource Management Programme. ENOC has a strong focus on solidifying the UAE’s retail fuel infrastructure and strategic global expansion, which Al Falasi has been integral to. He added that ENOC’s 2024 performance is a direct result of the company’s continued focus on driving operational efficiencies, embracing digital technologies, and expanding global reach. In March 2024, ENOC announced it had achieved a 17% reduction in greenhouse gas emission intensity, from 28.84 kgCO2e/ ton to 23.95 kgCO2e/ton, through various energy efficiency optimisation initiatives from 2014 to 2023. The group also nearly tripled its renewable energy generation capacity, from 2,660 MWh to 8,568 MWh, in the last five years. “ENOC Group is committed to promoting sustainable development initiatives to drive positive change towards the preservation of our environment and the planet,” Al Falasi said, adding that ENOC is committed to raising awareness about energy efficiency and will continue encouraging staff and the community to reduce environmental impact.” In 2025, ENOC signed a milestone deal with Salik to enable smart payments at fuel stations. The agreement allows customers to make seamless payments for fuel and services at ENOC stations using Salik’s e-wallet, offering an enhanced customer experience. Further, ENOC and DP World signed a MoU to enhance emergency and fire response capabilities across Dubai to ensure high safety standards and emergency preparedness. This includes Dubai’s key energy and logistics infrastructure, through joint planning, training, and coordination between both entities. It follows the group launching its one-of-a-kind Emergency Response Centre in Jebel Ali, in partnership with Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) in 2022, a move that set a benchmark for industrial safety in the region. Nasser is the President and CEO of Aramco, the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals company and the largest supplier of crude oil to global markets. A member of the Board of Directors, he has played a central role in guiding the company through a period of significant transformation, growth, and diversification. With over four decades at Aramco, Nasser has held numerous leadership roles, including senior vice president of Upstream. In that capacity, he led the company’s largest capital investment programme, focused on enhancing its integrated oil and gas portfolio.
