My role involves understanding the client’s FM requirements and finding the best cost- effective solution that can be efficiently be provided for their organization. Stay highly exposed to the market to identify opportunities and increase the revenue of ServeU, which ultimately leads to winning contracts, identifying both joint venture and possible acquisitions, or expanding into the new markets. The growth of revenue must come by maintaining ServeU’s reputation through strong customer satisfaction. THIS MONTH: AMIT MADAN, SR. This job gives me tremen- dous satisfaction because I have made many new valued friends who are business colleagues and clients. The pleasure of not only winning projects but also delivering FM solu- tions over many years for the same clients. The most challenging part is to change the mindset of the people around you at times. Sometimes I hear the words “but we have always done it this way,” so getting people to change their ways and doing things in a better way. UAE is constantly evolving as a country, and there is a need for efficiency and critical thinking by everyone who has to move at the same speed and change with the times. 1.45 What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to read and write about changes in the global financial system related to technology like blockchain & crypto currencies. I try to keep updated in fintech space. But above all, spend- ing time with my family. 4.45 What is the most memorable project and why? 4:00 AM on 4th April 2020, talking about the “Human Lives at stake Globally to WATAN(UAE)” during the mobilisation of 120 frontline heroes and taking part in the DHA Pandemic Crisis Management plan has definitely changed my perception and the way I look at things. Our team’s best part was the approach and attitude of “Let’s Fight – Together We Can.” 2.05 0.00 Where do you see FM industry in 5 years? FM industry, especially in the UAE, is already on a path of digital transformation and asset management. The consideration of lifecycle analysis of assets is a prime driver to enhance FM operations.
