The course, “Designing and Operating High-Performing Healthcare HVAC Systems,” will take place again on April 14. The Q&A instructor, Frank Mills, C.Eng, Member ASHRAE will address questions and concerns relevant to the course. “Infection control is a primary purpose of HVAC systems in hospitals,” said course instructor, Dan Koenigshofer P.E., MS Public Health, HFDP, SASHE. This three-hour course focuses on the design and operation of HVAC systems in healthcare facilities. In some countries, this includes manufacturers, suppliers and service professionals of HVACR equipment. Eurovent Middle East, along with other international industry organisations have published a Position Paper to warn of severe consequences to critical infrastructure if the supply and servicing of HVACR equipment is halted. The Position Paper calls on governments around the world to include the HVACR industry in the list of essential businesses. The FM industry in the UAE market is becoming more competitive but also has a lot of potential for growth.
