Julianne Tolentino Editor Sitting down to write the last editor’s letter of 2025 feels a little surreal. This year has moved fast, and now that we have reached the end of it, I fi nally have the chance to breathe and look back at everything that happened. When I think about the highlights, the fi rst thing that comes to mind is our biggest issue of the year, the Power 150 issue. Six covers, more than fi fteen thousand words, and probably more late-night madness than I want to admit. It was chaotic in the best way. The kind of project that tests everyone, but also brings out something bright and surprising. Then there were the days fi lled with real people and real voices. Our Women in Construction Conference, with more than 200 women in one room, was memorable, especially as I fi nd myself relating to a lot of the topics discussed. In September, our Leaders in Construction Middle East conference gathered over 350 minds with ideas worth hearing. The conversations lingered long after the event came to a close, which is how you know something meaningful happened. And then came our 21st Construction Week Middle East Awards in November. Our biggest yet, with more than 500 nominations and a packed room of 520+ people. I stood in the crowd and watched faces light up, and for a moment, it felt incredibly magical to see the industry come together to celebrate one another. Through all of it, perhaps what mattered to me the most was the team showing up, even on the days when it felt impossible. We pulled through every deadline, every twist, every rewrite, and I am grateful for each one of them. We also gave our covers a new life this year, shaping them with care so they truly felt like ours. As we close the chapter on 2025, I feel thankful more than anything. The wins this year were very, very real, and they are giving me a sense of giddiness for what waits in 2026. So here we go. Turning the page. Ready for whatever comes next… Signing off !
