Photos by Ivo Tavares Studio It's all about our ride or dies this issue – the fi rms that have pledged to support the Commercial Interior Design Awards 2022. Both new and returning sponsors have certainly chosen a great year to get involved. With a record 600 nominations and returning to the XXL capacity ballroom at Madinat Jumeirah, this year's awards are set to be even bigger and better. A huge thank you to everyone who nominated their projects and people. We're pouring over them as we speak and the defi nitive shortlists will appear in the next issue of the magazine, with the winners and highly commended chosen by our judging panel and announced at our gala dinner awards ceremony on 15 September. We've included a refresher on who these esteemed experts are, plus a photo gallery from the 2021 event to remind us of just how much fun awaits. As always, good luck to everyone taking part. With a huge amount of work ahead of us, I'm glad that this issue is also a spa and wellness special, with an extensive review of next-generation design of health and leisure spaces, including an opinion piece, Q&A, and clutch of case studies that we hope will inform and inspire, and maybe even relax! While the awards nominations are now closed, there's still time to book your table or secure a sponsorship request, so please reach out to us using the details on page 27 of the magazine.
