General manager Alexandra Filali be- lieves its enduring popularity is down to its “warm and friendly atmosphere” and guest recognition. She said: "Guests always feel extra special when we can greet them by name or remember their drink order — it’s this personalized service which makes our guests feel like a friend of LPM.” Staying true to its principles is what has made LPM successful, said global opera- tions director Nicolas Budzynski. “We believe in simplicity and well-executed ser- vice, and our approach is still up to date.” For Budzynski, the priority going forward into the 2020s is to maintain those core values while making necessary changes to engage LPM’s audience going forward, but don’t worry about your favou- rites being removed from the menu. “Imagine the chaos it would create if we would attempt to remove dishes like snails, burrata, lamb cutlets, potato gratin, baby chicken…,” said Budzynski. “That's 80% of the menu that can’t be changed because guests just love those dishes.” To other brands hoping to replicate LPM’s success, Budzynski advises they be original. “Too many new restaurants have copied existing concepts, with recipes, staff or design. Guests can feel the difference and know what is authentic or not, and that is why so many of those restaurants have had to close.” La Petite Maison Now entering its 10th year in Dubai, ‘the little house’ has made a big impactNext >
