ROSHN Group Saudi Arabia’s leading real estate developer ROSHN Group has remained busy over the past few months, launching new phases of existing projects and breaking ground on ambi- tious mixed-use developments across the kingdom. The company, a key player in Saudi’s Vision 2030 plans to diver- sify the economy, is continuing its rapid pace of growth fuelled by strong demand for aff ordable housing and vibrant lifestyle destinations. This month, ROSHN announced the launch of the next phase of its popular SEDRA community in North Riyadh. Known as SEDRA 4, the new area will consist of 4,860 resi- dential units covering over 1.9 million sq m. This marks a signifi cant expansion of the entire SEDRA project, which has become one of the capital’s fastest-growing residential hubs thanks to its focus on walkability, amenities, and integrated infrastructure. ROSHN has made 1,254 units available for initial purchase, refl ecting the tremendous appetite among homebuyers for housing provided by the developer’s “new way of living.” MEDIA AND MARKETING GHADA ALRUMAYAN Group Chief Marketing & Communications Officer ROSHN Grouparabianbusiness.com 9 SEDRA 4 will feature many appealing amenities, including what ROSHN claims will be the “Kingdom’s largest Sports Dome.” Thirty percent of the project’s space has been set aside for outdoor public areas such as parks, walking paths, mosques, and neighbourhood retail centres. The location also has excep- tional connectivity, being situated along Airport Road near major commercial zones, educational institutions, a hospital, and trans- portation hubs including a future train station. SEDRA 4 was another milestone refl ecting the company’s progress in address- ing the high property demand in Saudi Arabia. In addition to expanding its fl agship SEDRA project, in February ROSHN broke ground on an entirely new mixed-use destination called MARAFY. Located in Makkah province, MARAFY will span 1.8 million sq m laid out across integrated districts joined by an 11km canal fed by the Red Sea. This water feature is central to ROSHN’s plans to incorporate walkability, cycling paths, and public transportation options into the destination’s design. MARAFY aims to off er commer- cial, cultural, leisure and recreational spaces including retail, F&B, hospitality, and various land and water activities. The ground breaking ceremony, which was hosted by top Saudi dignitaries, signifi es ROSHN’s “speed, scale, and momentum” in delivering diverse real estate aligned with Vision 2030’s quality of life and economic diversity goals. Earlier in the year in January, ROSHN and the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Company (EVIQ) signed a deal to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in Saudi Arabia. Under the terms of the deal ROSHN and EVIQ will cooperate in evaluating, assessing and developing direct-cur- rent infrastructure solutions for EVs within residential communities and commercial properties developed by ROSHN spanning the Kingdom. The partnership comes at an important time as Saudi Arabia works to rapidly increase EV adoption across the king- dom. As one of the country’s leading sustainable real estate developers, ROSHN is well-positioned to support this tran- ROSHN Group has announced the expansion of its popular SEDRA project with a new phase that adds 4,860 residential units sition by integrating robust charging infrastructure into its communities from the beginning. Through the agreement with EVIQ, ROSHN and EVIQ aim to evaluate and deploy direct current fast-charging solutions that will give EV drivers convenient access to high-powered stations where they live, work and visit. In addition to residential properties, ROSHN and EVIQ will focus on cooperatively developing EV charging solutions for ROSHN’s large-scale commercial and mixed- use destinations. This includes flagship projects like ROSHN Front in Riyadh, which already hosts the country’s first public fast-charging facility provided by EVIQ. By locating strategically placed high-speed chargers through- out its integrated lifestyle hubs, ROSHN can further reduce barriers to EV ownership and help drive consumer adop- tion. The partnership reflects ROSHN’s leadership in adopting innovative technologies that enhance sustainabil- ity and mobility within its pioneering human-centric devel- opments. As the EV market in Saudi Arabia continues to rapidly expand in line with Vision 2030 goals, the ROSHN- EVIQ alliance will be crucial to expanding charging infra- structure nationwide. ROSHN’s projects provide much-needed housing supply as Saudi Arabia undergoes rapid urbanisation. But the company is also enhancing liveability through its communi- ty-driven approach and emphasis on public services, enter- tainment venues and greenery within walkable neighbour- hoods. SEDRA and the upcoming MARAFY exemplify ROSHN’s balanced development model delivering economic and social value. With continued successes, ROSHN will play an instrumental role in shaping Saudi cities of the future and improving standards of living as outlined in the Kingdom’s transformation roadmap. After only a short time since its founding, ROSHN has emerged as the dominant force in the nation’s real estate sector - a position it looks poised to main- tain as Saudi Vision 2030 continues to unfold.Next >
